Proof of the pudding...


...is making the food that your sick relative craves...but resisting the urge to try a spoonful.

I guess this is an easier choice to make today than it will be in a couple of weeks, but I'm proud I've stuck to my guns.

Nice. And I'm sooooo hungry. If it's any consolation, I really cut back on the bread for the first couple months of the 12-week thing. You'll do great. xx

Oh Sarah - that's one hell of a temptation. Good luck with this - changing even one small thing in our diets is incredibly challenging, I think. I know I'd struggle with not eating bread so I am cheering you on big time.

A FB friend told me that she substituted lettuce leaves when she fancied a sandwich... just rolled a big leaf around whatever filling she fancied.
