Day 16

And now my computer doesn't want to read my cell phone memory card.  I'm too annoyed to mess around with it anymore.

Photo snapped for the day, mission accomplished, but it won't be posted here.  We'll try again tomorrow.

I've just come back from my local authorized-Apple dealer (as opposed to the uber-cool Apple store a bit further away) and saw a wi-fi SD memory card. It autoatically transmits your photos to your email/computer/whatever.

An unnessecary (aren't they all) but fun new gadget for the gadgets!

I have one of those cards (Eye-fi), actually, and it is very cool. It works just as advertised, and will even automatically upload pictures to an online photo sharing site. I have heard that it doesn't work as well with a converter card (for cameras that take CF cards instead of SD cards) so I haven't tried that.

However, the cell phone probably uses microSD cards, and Eye-Fi only comes in SD size.

Sounds like just what I need, Bob-- perfect for us technology impaired individuals struggling to keep up with life.
Yes, cyberdryad, the cell does take a microSD card, but if I had one of those uber-cool wi-fi SD cards for my camera, well, problem solved.
*Sigh* I've gotta get caught up to the 21st century sometime before it ends.

I use a series of strange plugs/cords. Good luck with the tecchy issues.
